Rotate unlocked tiles clockwise to build one continuous route from the water-drop Departure tile to the flag Arrival tile. The route must use every required checkpoint and obey locks and one-way arrows.

Every completed Journey puzzle earns at least one star. Efficient solutions earn two. Kids, Amateur and Advanced award three stars for optimal manual moves; Expert also uses an achievable skilled time target. Master Solve awards three Journey stars but remains recorded as assisted.

Earn at least 50 of the 60 available stars in a destination for that difficulty. From City 3 onward, the cross-skill frontier also requires the preceding stage to be cleared in at least three of the four difficulty tracks. Destinations already unlocked remain replayable.

They are separate progression tracks. Kids introduces route choices with fewer decoys; Amateur adds planning; Advanced adds more constraints and convincing branches; Expert is the most demanding route-planning challenge.

Daily Five offers five deterministic challenges for the current local calendar day. Each challenge independently receives a difficulty, and completing the set can build a streak and award supplies.

Practice creates varied, consequence-free puzzles. It uses no lives or supplies and does not change Journey stars or destination progress.

Journey and Daily Five use lives. Lives regenerate freely up to 6/6, and the out-of-lives screen shows the next-life countdown. Practice never uses lives.

Each Time Boost adds 10 seconds to the current Journey puzzle’s three-star time allowance. It does not rewind the elapsed timer, reduce moves or solve any tile.

Hint highlights a tile on a shortest route and tells you how many clockwise turns it needs.

Master Solve completes the current puzzle and awards three Journey stars. The result remains marked as assisted and does not create a false manual best time or move record.

It is a stored refill you can use whenever your lives are below 6/6. Using one restores lives to full and consumes exactly one refill.

Keep Newton open while online so Apple can finish verifying the transaction. For a permanent theme or Starter Bundle ownership, also use Restore Purchases at the bottom of Shop. If Apple shows a charge and the item is still missing, contact Newton Support with the product name and approximate purchase time—never send payment-card details.

Open Shop and choose Restore Purchases at the bottom. Apple can restore permanent themes and Starter Bundle ownership associated with the active App Store account.

River Run, Railway Adventure, Magic Trail, Power Grid, Space Lanes and Golden Brick Trail are permanent theme entitlements. Starter Bundle ownership is also one-time.

Time Boosts, Hints, Master Solves, Full Life Refills and consumable bundles are granted once per verified transaction and are depleted when used. Apple’s Restore Purchases process does not re-grant used consumables.

No. Core gameplay is free to start, contains no advertising and remains playable without making an in-app purchase. Waiting for lives is always free.

Newton saves stars, destinations, lives, achievements, settings, inventory and other eligible progress locally. Private Apple/iCloud recovery is used where available without making online access mandatory.

Eligible progress and permanent purchase ownership can recover through Apple/iCloud and StoreKit where available. Do not assume every used consumable can be restored; contact Newton Support before deleting the app if important progress appears missing.

Use the same Apple/iCloud and App Store accounts, open Newton online, then use Restore Purchases for permanent entitlements. Private cloud recovery can reconcile eligible gameplay data without overwriting newer progress with older progress.

Newton uses private Apple/iCloud recovery for eligible progress and inventory when available. This is not a public Newton account and core play remains offline-first.

Yes. Main Expedition, Practice, Daily Five after the relevant local content is available, installed themes, progress and settings are designed to work without a constant internet connection. Purchases, restoration, public help and remote Daily artwork require internet access.

Sound effects and haptics can be controlled in Settings. Newton does not use the rejected procedural, MIDI or chiptune soundtrack. Reduce Motion simplifies animated presentation.

Newton can schedule one optional local notification when lives are full. It does not use a push-notification server for this alert, and the game works normally if permission is declined.

Use the Newton contact form and choose Technical problem. Describe what you tapped, what happened, what you expected and whether the problem repeats.

Include the app version/build if known, iPhone model, iOS version, the affected destination/level and a short sequence of steps. Never send passwords, Apple verification codes or payment-card details.
